Following this morning’s Open Rehearsal, conductor Bernard Haitink spoke with Audio Producer Mark Travis about performing with the New York Philharmonic for the first time in 33 years and discussed Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony, which he considers one of the composer’s “greatest masterpieces.”
His interview will air on The New York Philharmonic This Week on November 30 and December 7 in the New York metropolitan area on WQXR 105.9 FM.
